Describe the moment that inspired you to get into music production:
I grew up playing instruments (drums, piano, percussion) and playing in the church as well. when i was in 6th grade my cousin was making beats using FL Studio, that was the first time i'd ever seen something like that. By 2010 I was doing the same and releasing songs with friends on soundcloud, etc.
What’s your DAW of choice, and why?
FL Studio because it is the goat and there truly is no debate.
Who are your favorite producers of all time?
I don’t have an all time list because its hard for me to choose 'favorites' but i would say I’m definitely influenced by these producers:-Timbaland
-Shawty Redd
-Lex Luger
-Havoc of Mobb Deep
-Organized Noize (rip Rico Wade)
-Hit-Boy
-Pharell
Do you have any routines or rituals before starting a session?
Make an iced coffee, roll one, and say a lil prayer for God to bless me with the ability to create as much fire as i can without overthinking (thats literally my prayer, not joking)
How would you describe your signature sound?
To be honest.. it’s still developing. i guess i would say thats what makes it special is the evolution.
What's on that master bus 👀?
EQ, T-RackS Clipper, boost the highs.
If you could only use three plugins for the rest of your career, what would they be?
Omnisphere, Analog Lab, Arcade (lol)
What is a must-have drum kit every producer should have?
How do you overcome creative block?
I acknowledge that I feel the way I do, dont force anything, and come back later.
What’s your most recent project?
I just released two new amazing sample packs:
How do you know when a track is finished?
When I feel like I wanna rap on it now.
Which producers would you love to collaborate with?
Chopsquad DJ, Hit-Boy
What's a song you wish you had produced?
The Subway 5 dollar footlong song
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received about music production?
"if someone from the future came to you and said 'you can do this (be a producer), but you'll never make any money, you'll never be successful, you'll never achieve the things you want in the industry' and you still wanted to do it everyday, then this is the perfect job for you"
If your sound was a movie, which film would it be?
The Godfather
What is a fun fact about you?
I am one belt away from being a black belt in Taekwondo.
What’s your long-term vision?
In 5-10 years I will have several placements, built up an online community similar to the likes of Kenny Beats, illmind, and others. living in the Philippines and making beats everyday and streaming.
